Luis R. Sosa, M.D. hails from Palm Springs, California. After graduating from Palm Springs High School, Dr. Sosa attended the University of California at San Diego, where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in biochemistry, and was extensively involved in research. After completing his coursework at UCSD in 1995, Dr. Sosa moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where he attended the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and received his medical degree in 1999. He remained in Cleveland for his residency training with Fairview Hospital: A Cleveland Clinic Hospital. As a distinguished resident, he was elected to serve as chief during his final year in 2002. Following residency training, Dr. Sosa worked for the MetroHealth System in Cleveland. In 2006, he relocated to his home state of California, and now works with Northwest Medical Group in Fresno, where he plans to stay with his wife and 4 children to raise their family.
